You check out on Stripe's secure page

Clicking Buy takes you to a checkout hosted by Stripe — the payment company behind millions of online businesses. Your card details go to Stripe, not to us; we never see or store them.

Your license key appears on screen

The moment payment completes, you land on a confirmation page showing your personal license key and the download button. There's no email to wait for. The key is tied to your purchase — if you close the page by accident, reopening the confirmation link shows the same key again.

You download Aletha

The download is about 2.8 GB — a few minutes on most connections. This is the full app and the AI model together; it's why Aletha works without the internet afterward.

You install it like any Mac app

Open the downloaded file and drag Aletha into Applications. That's the entire install — no terminal, no configuration, no account to create.

You enter your key, once

On first launch, Aletha asks for the license key from step 2. Paste it in and the app is yours. One license activates one Mac — if you ever move to a new one, email us and we'll transfer it.

Optional: give Aletha a better voice

Aletha speaks with your Mac's built-in system voice, and macOS includes premium voices you can download free from Apple. Open System Settings → Accessibility → Spoken Content → System Voice, choose Manage Voices, and download any premium voice you like — Aletha uses whichever one you pick. Two minutes, and it sounds dramatically more natural.

Press the hotkey and ask

Everything works from the first launch: voice and text over any app, memory, study tools, system health, and the encrypted vault. Nothing you say or type leaves your Mac.
